So I was having a conversation with my wife the other day, attempting to explain PC and how the Cathedral works.
My wife is new to the US, and she comes from a country where Cultural Marxists have yet to make any significant inroads. Actually, when she first came to the US she got an immediate dose of culture shock. The TSA agent that processed her was this thing which may have been a man trying to be a woman, or a woman trying to be a man. The voice and size of the creature indicated being male, but it had boobs and an effeminate way of speaking. A sad and disgraceful introduction to the US, but I digress.
Those of us who grew up in western countries all innately understand how the Cathedral works, but to a person with no previous exposure, it seems remarkably incoherent, and that’s because it is.
So the topic was Mel Gibson, and how the leftist culture has this fetish for perpetually destroying people for their entire lives, making them “pay” until they’re dead.
Mel Gibson said that Jews were responsible for all the world’s problems, and since then he’s been “excommunicated” and has not (as far as I know) produced any new movies. Why is this? Is it because the left is pro-Jewish? No, the left hates Israel and loves the durka durkas. Being an anti-semite is not even a hiccup for the left, which has a long and blatant history of anti-semitism.
Also, Mel Gibson was drunk, and given how the left drinks and uses narcotics, they should know that when you’re under the influence you say things that you normally wouldn’t, not just because your inhibitions are down, but also because your way of thinking and looking at things is altered by the substance. Mel Gibison came out and apologized, and I believe he was sincere, and he’s done a lot less to abuse the Jewish people than Barack Osama.
That being said, I explained to my wife that it’s not so much what a person says that matters but WHO says it. Mel Gibson loses his career over his drunken comment, but no one in a position of influence bats an eyelid at what George Takai said about Clarence Thomas:
“He is a clown in blackface sitting on the Supreme Court,” said Takei. “He gets me that angry. He doesn’t belong there.”
Since George Takai is gay and a leftist, and since Clarence Thomas is a conservative, it’s “acceptable” for Takai to abuse Clarence Thomas. George Takai’s career is not going to take a hit, but Mel Gibson’s was knocked out.
If George Takai had been straight and right wing, and if Clarence Thomas had voted for the “gay marriage” ruling, and if George had made the exact same comment, then that would have been it for George.
If Mel Gibson had been a flaming leftist and cultural subversive, then his drunken comment would have been swept under the rug and forgotten, if it had ever been made public in the first place.
This is the insanity we’re operating under, and if it continues unabated we won’t have any country left. The only good thing about this insanity is that it can’t go on forever, but that’s only because it will wreck everything until there’s nothing left to destroy. Then, the survivors will have to pick up the fragments and ruins, and attempt to rebuild.
