So I had an encounter with Jesse Benn on Twitter. I got blocked for asking him if he thought it was OK for government to pick winners and losers. Obviously he does, because that’s what affirmative actions is all about, and the justification for it is predicated loosely on the idea that white people deserve to suffer. There are a lot of white people who are thoroughly emasculated and will just sigh and agree, but then there are others (like myself), who will not even pretend to be sympathetic.
I’ll break it down: I care about myself, my family, and my kid(s) before I care about anyone else. Any policies which adversely affect me in favor of someone else are not something I can get on board with. I have no sympathy. Maybe when all my needs are met I MIGHT begin to care (liberals should understand that since they believe in Maslow’s hierarchy of needs). But, under the best of circumstances affirmative action IS government picking winners and losers, and is not conducive to meritocracy. I find it interesting how the left is so concerned about Silicon Valley engineers being mostly white and Asian, but they never say a word about professional sports teams being mostly black.
Anyways, I want to talk about Jesse Benn and his flag burning video. Back when the left had it’s mad rage-gasm over the Confederate flag, and certain emasculated suppliers (Walmart, Amazon) decided to stop selling the flag, a lot of us who are either southern or pro-south had to listen to liberals, especially those in Muffington Boast, go on about how we were traitors for having the “Confederate Flag.”
Well, first of all, the stars and bars is not the Confederate Flag, it’s the battle flag of General Lee. Second, I never heard anyone calling people traitors for waiving around a state flag. Even though the stars and bars was a battle flag, it has since then come to symbolize the south and southern culture.
Yes, the south has it’s own culture which is different from the midwest and coastal states, especially the liberal states. White liberals have no issue recognizing that black Americans have their own culture, but for some reason they have a serious hiccup when it comes to recognizing that southerners also do. The black-American culture BTW is an outgrowth of southern culture, albeit a debased one. Their ghetto dialect derives from the southern accent, and their “soul food” derives from eating preferences down here. Anyone who thinks otherwise has obviously never had actual African food before.
That being said, being called a traitor by a Muffington Boast leftist (which is a subversive organization), is like being called short by a midget, or like being called a whore by a harlot. It just carries no weight, and it’s interesting that libtards, who are continually hating on traditional America, and which are pro-Islam, in favor of open borders, and who wish to subordinate the US to the UN, would all of a sudden decide to start using “traitor” as an insult.
I have said it before, but the same people who go on about how they hate the Rebel flag, and who call us traitors for having it, are the same people who burn the American flag.
Here is an example, courtesy of Jesse Benn:
First of all, political statement or not, it’s not very smart to destroy something after having paid money for it. Second, I can’t help notice that most of the people in this video (with one possible exception) are white. Given that the crowd is 99% white liberal, it makes no sense for him to have put this video to some ghetto rap music (which is so garbled I can only understand about half the words). It would have made more sense for him to put it to something white libtards actually listen to, like Lady Gaga or Katy Perry.
In fact, I’m going to suggest an experiment, watch this video in one tab and mute the sound, then set “Poker Face” to play in another tab, and see which sound track goes better with this video.
I mean, seriously, these guys are white liberals… They don’t look tough, hard, or threatening on a personal basis. Probably half the reason this crowd exists is because of having eaten too much soy. Furthermore, burning the American flag, or the Rebel flag, is not “edgy,” it’s overdone and cliche, and it makes the flag burners look like complete jack asses (which is what they are). So another Muffington Boast clown is letting their true nature show. I knew the whole “traitor”/faux-patriotism stuff would only be a short burst of manufactured rage-gasm. They would very quickly return to the usual routine.
The only thing I find truly upsetting here is the usual issue I take with leftists in general: If they hate America so much they should leave and go to a place where their values are the rule of the land, rather than continually trying to subvert the country.
What truly bothers me about this, is that these
