While on Twitter, I came across a heated debate between Katie McHugh and Mike Armstrong. It was over whether or not the so-called “Muslim Refugees” should be allowed into Europe.
I don’t know what the mental disease is that causes people to admire Islam, or to view them as allies. Muhammad said very specifically not to take Christians and Jews as friends:
O you who believe! do not take the Jews and the Christians for friends; they are friends of each other; and whoever amongst you takes them for a friend, then surely he is one of them; surely Allah does not guide the unjust people.
Therefore shun those who turn away from Our Message and desire nothing but the life of this world.
Now I’ll admit, when I was in my teens I also thought that Islam might be an ally. Why? Well I was irritated with the moral and social decay I saw around me, and that was back in the 90’s, things are much worse now. I was just starting to learn about Islam at the time, and when I heard that Muslims were opposed to homosexuality, abortion, and (ostensibly) sex outside of marriage, I thought I found some friends who shared my values, or at least my grievances.
However, as I learned more about them, I discovered that they are not an ally, and there are far more differences than similarities. Yes, Muslims do keep their women under control, but they do it by beating and killing them, sometimes by disfiguring them. They still practice stoning, and they think it is acceptable to kill people for talking negatively about their religion or their “prophet” (Muhammad). They have a fanatical Hitleresque style hatred for the Jews, and will not even denounce Hamas for their methods, simply because Hamas is hitting a target that they don’t like. So with Islam, the ends totally justify the means.
Muslims don’t oppose abortion because they objectively value life. They literally think it’s OK to kill their own children for having wrong/different beliefs. They oppose abortion because they believe in having lots of kids.
They are not an ally. You can see how they view Christians by looking at ISIS, or if anyone thinks that is too “extreme” there is also “moderate” Egypt, where Christians have been whittled down to 10% through years of persecution, murder, and forced conversion.
Muslims don’t believe in secular government. They have no concept of separation of Mosque and state. They believe in furthering the cause of Islam. In moderate Egypt, ALL school children are forced to memorize and recite Koran verses. Christians and atheists are not allowed to form their own separate private schools.
Everything they do is geared toward furthering the cause of Islam. As for converting Muslims to Christianity, by any means necessary, whether it be force, guile, debate, or high birthrates. Now, I have no problem with debates, but debate and logical persuasion is the only acceptable venue for spreading a belief system or ideology. Force doesn’t actually win an argument, the most force can do is shut an argument down. Also, unless you are stupid, there isn’t really a concrete case for Islam. Islam is entirely predicated on the credibility of Muhammad, and that credibility is vouched for entirely by the man himself. The arguments are inherently circular.
Your have a much better chance of converting the most stubborn, fedora toting internet atheist than the average Muslim. Yes, there is lack of logic behind Islam, but Muslims live largely in the realm of non-logic when it comes to Islam. As soon as you start saying something they can’t digest, no matter how peacefully and rationally you state it, they will shut down. Muhammad already told them that you are a liar and deceiver, that the Bible is corrupt (and any point where it contradicts Islam is evidence of said corruption), and on top of that Islam carries a death penalty for apostasy. So you literally cannot reason with the bulk of Muslims, and in any case they aren’t interested in logic and reason.
Trying to engage a Muslim in the realm of facts and logic is like trying to explain why democracy, feminism, and multiculturalism are bad to a liberal. They can’t hear your logic and reason over the sound of sirens going off in their head because you stepped on their feelz. It’s the same thing here.
People used to say, “Never forget 9/11,” but I say, “Never forget Constantinople.” Of course, today it’s called “Istanbul,” but that’s not it’s real name. Constantinople was all that was left of Roman civilization, the very source of western civilization. Muslims took it because their religion told them to, in fact, it was one of the imperatives that Muhammad gave them.
Once they took Constantinople, they immediately set to raping and destroying, burning our libraries, desecrating our churches, raping our women, and selling our women and children into slavery. They didn’t enrich or improve a single thing, and the loss to western civilization is incalculable. If there was a cure for cancer there we will never know, and there might have been. They had working animatronics in Constantinople 1000 years before the industrial revolution, they could have been equally advanced in other ways as well.
How can we just let it slide that the remnant of our original civilization was destroyed by Islam? That was one of our greatest (if not the greatest) repositories of our history and science, going all the way back to Rome. What did Islam give us in exchange for that? Nothing.
Today Islam works very much like a cuckoo bird. In the past Muslims used to just force their way into infidel countries, but as they are unable to keep up with the technological advances of infidels, they have to come by means other than direct force. Fortunately for them, western governments are so stupid that they are just able to literally walk in and stay. Like the cuckoo, Muslims come in and receive food and benefits from other peoples, while contributing nothing. This is at the expense of resources which we might otherwise spend on our own people and children. It’s a drain.
Muslims reproduce at a higher rate than host population, and at the expense of the host population, and when they become numerous enough they dispossess the host population.
So we have established that Muslims are not an ally, and have little to nothing in common with us, but are they refugees? Are they really fleeing from anything?
The answer is no. Islam created the miserable conditions that exist in their homelands. If they were really trying to get away from it they would leave Islam behind when they come here, but they don’t do that. If they did then we would not be seeing one single hijab in the west, and certainly no burkas. They bring their culture with them, and once they have numbers they start advocating for special privileges, and they form groups like CAIR.
So unless you want to be enriched to death, you must keep Islam out. If some of them really are refugees then make them renounce their faith before coming in, or offer to adopt their little kids for them. Their kids would then be raised in Christian, Jewish, or atheist homes, so we would still be providing for their kids, but it would be done without breeding terror in our midst.
Saying things like “white men also rape” is not a valid reason for letting Muslims in. Every culture has rapists, but some have a lot more than others, and some are conducive to rape. We can’t help that there are rapists already here, but we can keep more from coming in. Is rape more tolerable if it’s committed by someone from an alien culture? No, in fact it’s less tolerable because that person doesn’t have to be here.
Why not put your own people first, and if you can’t do that at least think about yourself?
I will conclude with two parables:
There once was a wolf who went down to the side of a river to cross it. Near the edge of the river he found a snake. The snake wanted to get to the other side of the river, so he asked the wolf to take him across the river on his back.
The wolf said, “If I do that then you could bite me.”
“No I won’t,” the snake said, “I need to get across just as badly as you do.”
The wolf thought that sounded reasonable, and he took pity on the snake. He let the snake slither up onto his back and swam out into the river. But when he was halfway across the river the snake bit him.
“Why did you do that?” the wolf asked, “Now we are both going to die.”
“It’s my nature,” the snake replied, “You should have known.”
A farmer went out into his fields during a rainstorm to inspect his crops. It was a cold rain, and as he made his way through it he found a snake lying in the mud, barely moving.
He took pity on the snake, which seemed to be freezing to death.
“I’m doing well, I’ve got a warm house and a fire,” he said, “I can afford to help this creature and show it some kindness.”
The farmer took the snake into his house and warmed the snake by the fire. When the snake recovered he immediately bit the farmer. The snake did not care that the farmer showed him kindness, he only knew how to act in accordance with his nature.
